This year's soccer squad fin- ished the season in seventh place under the supervision of a new- comer to Monroe's coaching staff, '5Chick Schmidt. The boys sal- vaged the final game against Franklin by a 3-0 score. Despite an inexperienced squad, Jack Mahle andy Ray Hamblin played some good ball this season.
