September 17-The Monroe base- ball team defeated Geneva. Keep it up, boys. September 24-What happens once happens twice. We beat Geneva again. September 30-Sophomores have a class party. October 5-Chapel with Rev. Jones as speaker. October 6-Congratulations. cheer leaders, Vera and Berthag Mary Lou and Elizabeth! Now let's yell. October 7-Juniors sponsor skat- ing party. Anyone can go. October 8-Fire drill. Everyone get out. October 12-Seniors go to Fort Wayne to take pictures. Don't break the camera. October 19-Chapel. Rev. Amstutz was the speaker. October 20-Sad day! We get our report cards. October 21-22-Teachers' Institute. Ah! Vacation. October 26-Mrs. McCurdy was the speaker for chapel. October 28-Great day. Fall festi- val sponsored by the Juniors and Seniors. November 2-Chapel. Rev. Wal- ters was the speaker. November 3-The Bearkatz Won their first game. They beat Mon- mouth.
