Hi there, everybody! September 9-Class ofiicers elect- ed. Congratulations, Kids. September 13-We learned of Sen, Taylor's variety of wigs from Robert Hansel. September 17-The Monroe base- ball team defeated Geneva. Keep it up, boys. September 24-What happens once happens twice. We beat Geneva again. September 30-Sophomores have a class party. October 5-Chapel with Rev. Jones as speaker. October 6-Congratulations. cheer leaders, Vera and Berthag Mary Lou and Elizabeth! Now let's yell. October 7-Juniors sponsor skat- ing party. Anyone can go. October 8-Fire drill. Everyone get out. October 12-Seniors go to Fort Wayne to take pictures. Don't break the camera. October 19-Chapel. Rev. Amstutz was the speaker. October 20-Sad day! We get our report cards. October 21-22-Teachers' Institute. Ah! Vacation. October 26-Mrs. McCurdy was the speaker for chapel. October 28-Great day. Fall festi- val sponsored by the Juniors and Seniors. November 2-Chapel. Rev. Wal- ters was the speaker. November 3-The Bearkatz Won their first game. They beat Mon- mouth. November 5-Bearkatz defeated by Willshire. ' November 8-Oh, boy! Look at Mr, Byrnes' new glasses. Sharp! November 9-Chapel. November 12-Geneva defeated the Bearkatz. , November 15-Seniors go to li- brary in Decatur. Hope you learned something. November 17-Everyone has their pictures taken. even the teachers. November 19-Defeated Kirkland. Nice going, fellas. November 23-Pleasant Mills game. We won.

December 23-We see another Christmas film. December 24-Christmas vacation starts. January 3-Back to the old grind. Our pictures came. What pic- tures!! January 4-Bearkatz vvallop Pleas- ant Mills January 6-Exams. Should have studied harder. January 7-Some exams. Semes- ter ends. Monroeville defeats the Bearkatz. January 12-Report cards. January 13-14-15-County tourney. Got beat first game. January 18-Chapel. Rev. Lock- wood was speaker. January 20-Magician was here. Thanks for the entertainment. January 21-Bearkatz defeat Ge- neva. Close one. January 25-The Bearkatz defeated Berne. Nice Work, boys. January 27-The pre-fab is opened to grades 3 and 4. January 28-Bearkatz were defeat- ed by Hartford. February 1-Chapel. Rev.
