SENIOR WILL Upon being doomed to end our days at Monroe High School, we, the Senior Class of 1948, do hereby make our last will and testament bequething our last scholarly effects to our most beloved teachers and to our dear friends, the Juniors. Being of our faculities we so generously grant to them the following: To Mr. Byrnes, the nchiefn during our final year, we will a brand new paddle for his use in the years to come. To Mrs. Neuenschwander, we will a lifetime membership to the Ladies' Gossiping Society hoping she will hear more news to convey back to the students at M.H.S. To Miss Lucas we will a tall, dark, and handsome man to make her life in Berne less boring. To Miss Miller we will longer and more mushy love letters with the hope that she will continue reading them to her Home Economics Classes. To Mr. Snyder we will a size 54 pair of pants in the hope that some day he will fit them. To Mrs. Byrnes we will a new pair of slacks to wear in her Latin Class in case the first pair wears out. To Mrs. Ehrsam we will a new iron rod to keep order in her music classes, as we Lind the one in use now is depreciating To Mr. Knauff we shall not undertake the task of willing anything, as his needs are so numerous we do not know where to begin.
