Superintendent Derwin Huenink and Principal Lloyd Nielsen are responsible for intelligent and efficient administration. Superintendent Huenink attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan, and later received his Master's Degree from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to his position as Superintendent of Monroe Schools, Mr. Huenink held the same position in Chetek, Wisconsin. Mr. Nielsen received his Bachelor of Science Degree at Lawrence College and his Master’s Degree after studying at Harvard University. As first principal in the new building, Mr. Nielsen has had to handle many additional responsibilities. Because of the leadership of these two men, our school system is of the highest quality.
