STUDENT COUNCIL The motion has been made and seconded. All in favor say 'Aye'. That would be the note that a visitor would hear if he or she were pre- sent, when the Student Council, our student government meets. The Council, which meets every Thursday, has the job of appoint- ing committees tor homecoming mixers. They also supervised the safety patrol, the Christmas stocking fund, and other events which oc- cured throughout the year. It is their job to bring the will of the stu- dents out in the open. BULLETIN ADVERTISING Money? Money! Moneyl This is the favorite cry of the people on the Bulletin Advertising Staff. These are the ones who take care ot the business that comes with getting out a school paper regularly. Certainly without the work they do and the money they collect from the downtown merchants for advertisements, the Bulletin just couldn't be printed and published. FIRST ROW: Miss Petter, E. BULLETIN One of the busiest units of M. l-l. S. is the Bulletin staff. Close cooperation of the en- tire group is necessary in order to cover every phase of school activity. Their objective is to bring you a well rounded record of school life. Each year the staff must strive diligently to uphold the standards set by their predeces- sors. The eagerness with which the student body looks forward to each edition adds incentive to their work. The top rating received by the Bulletin in past years, offers a challenge to each new staff. BULLETIN CUBS Meet the Bulletin Cubs! While preparing for the regular staff next year, the cubs learn the fundamentals of journalism such as the writing of good news stories, features, and sports accounting. Emphasis was placed on personality sketches also this year. All these things are practiced during the year, and every spring the cubs are responsible for one issue with a mock staff. At the end of the year, it is customary for the cubs to give the regulars a picnic. This outing brings to close ci year of newspaper apprenticeship. FIRST ROW: Mrs. Gruenewald, J. Schultz, J.
