Counselors Miss Kloct and Mr. Pearson are both new to Monroe this year. Among the duties as counselors, they help the students choose programs, take tests, and obtain entrance to college. Miss Kloet's cheerfulness, and Mr. Pearson's eagerness to help the students, make them both well-liked and favorites among the stu- dents. Clcrks - Miss Blanch Dvorak standing, is in charge of keeping records, and taking care of the ofhce in general. Mrs. Hellaine Holliday, seated, is in charge of preparing bulletins, making notices, phoning parents. . Y i MRS. TjOMSLAND is a new addition to the office staff. She spends her day typing, mimeographing, and doing general work pertaining to the maintaining of a high school ofice. Half of her day is spent with the counselors, while the other half she helps the office staff. Though she has only been at Monroe a short time, her friendliness will soon have her well-known by the students. 9

U Mr. Robert Sclzanke, right, has been serving as Monroe's principal the last two years. The smooth operation of Monroe High School is a result of how well his duties and responsibilities are carried out. This makes him the busiest person in school. Mr. Schanke can be seen at all athletic and school activities. His sense of humor makes him well liked by all students. Mr. Fred Peting, left. became assistant prirzcijyal this year after serving as counselor at Monroe. He comes in contact with many students every day. His pleasant dis- position has made him a favorite of the students. 8
