The Circus has become a pub- lic institution, deeply rooted in the affections of young and old alike. There we relax and forget our cares in the funni- est of the world's clowning. Great performers daily risk their lives for our entertain- ment, doing things which ap- pear almost superhuman. This is the result of patient, intensive training, the very Hnest self-discipline of the hu- man mind and body. The Circus believes that to perform well it is necessary to train well. Manroe's Circus is a strong training center. It is training many performers for many acts, each according to his ability, needs, talents and interests, so that each may serve well in the part that Life destines him to perform. As in the real Circus, some will star in their chosen fields, others will carry supporting and assisting roles but each will achieve in accordance with his training as suited to his ability and interests. That every member will be trained to perform his best in service to mankind is the goal of the Circus at Monroe. R. J. HALLEN Assistant Principal -if , ll l' js.
