Mx Advisor Hr Gottmann STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council of Monroe High is composed of the officers of each class and a special representative to the council from each class The council sponsors school dances and activities, and acts as an unofficial nsounding Board' for student opinion Rheyma Burditt has been president of the Student Council this year It is a fine honor to be president of the Student Council, and therefore pres ident of the student body in Monroe High School The sponsor of the grmp is Mr Gottmann It is desirable in the public schools of a democracy to provide as many opportunities as we canfbr the students to assume re sponsibilities and to carry them out Our Student Council accomplishes this purpose 29
