ROOM What is the M .G. Room? As you entered the door at noon, you could hear the heavy beat of the records playing in the juke box. The pat-pat of the ping pong ball Was ever -present from the ping pong tables. The tables along the Wall were packed with kids studying, playing cards, checkers, or chess, or, just plain talking. Victory cries came from the Wiffle ball soccer field. What is the M .G. Room? An underground haven of fun and relaxation for students . LIBRARY Why does MG have a library? That answer, anyone would say, is easy --to provide a place for students to get books and do some last minute studying. This is true--but the library does more. Its modern facilities include three almost soundproof conference rooms, the verticle files finfor- mation compiled on almost any subject and arranged in foldersj, filmstrips, records, tapes, micro -films, newspapers, magazines, and Wall-to -Wall bookshelves . For reference, the library has encyclopedias, dictionaries, atlases, and even the trusty almanac . To administer the library's vital services are several librarians and the student Library Club. Members are a familiar sight in the Library and a rarity in their study halls . Cutting study halls for library Work is characteristic . Most o the Library Club members love Working in the library. Questionable? Not at all. M. Rahng D. Andrews, L. Kohlhageng S. Garwoodg S. Moen, R. Sul1.2e5G Storm C Anderson R Thompson.
