Besides being a group of guys with blue sweaters on, this group has a purpose. As Mr. Klement, their advisor, says, The reason for having the club is to promote and better the ath- letic program, and help the school. The club has in recent years purchased for the school, 31,000 in projection equipment and paid for part of the original trophy case, for the athletic department, it has bought a movie camera for game films, a Whirlpool for the training room, blazers, the blocking sled, and the pitching machine. They also handle all the concessions and programs at the state track meets and usher at the regional basketball tourn- aments. In the future, the club plans to build a press box for the football field. I l INTRAMURALS Intramural sports supply the boys of all four grades with noon hour activity that gives the ones Who Were not good enough for the interscholastic team, but are still interested. The intramural program offers a Variety of sports including basketball, Volleyball, battleball, and archery, in Which teams are picked and a regular season round -robin is set up. After the season, tournaments are played between the classes With the seniors usually Winning. 98

These girls participate in such activities as Volleyball, Basketball, Bombard - ment, Badminton, Ping-Pong, Softball, and Track Qout- sidej. In addition, G.A.A. is active throughout the Badger Conference, and has held meets With Sun Prairie Edgerton, jefferson, and Monroe. G .A .A. also has a bowling league Which meets after school on Tuesdays at Village Lanes--the results of Which are published in the State journal. Awards here, as Well as for Monday night activities, are given. G.A.A.
