The 15-minute mid-morning break is organized by the Break Commission and provides refreshments for the students. The Finance Commission is made up of the treasurers of the school clubs. Its chairman is the treasurer of the Student Council. The American Field Service Committee is in charge of raising money for the support of Monona Grove's AFSers and helping our foreign students become accustomed to MG life. The A.F.S. Committee sponsors fund-raising activities throughout the year for the school and the community. This committee is made up of the presidents, vice presidents, and immediate past presidents of the classes. The stu- dents may use the MG-Room for dancing, listening to favorite records, or just plain conversing. The nucleus of MG's school spirit can be found in the Pep Commission.
