WILLS We the class of 1961, of Monmouth High School, being of sound mind and memory, do hereby make and publish this our last will and testament. To the faculty - the pleasure of being rid of us; restful nights and peaceftil days. To the juniors - a lot of advice which we won ' t specify because they wouldn ' t follow it anyway. To the sophomores - the few traces of meekness and humility that we have left. They don ' t seem to have any so even a little should be welcome. To the freshmen - the indescribable joy of giggling at nothing. Besides these gifts we leave our blessing upon this school and its teachers and our pledges of friendship and loyalty in all the activities of the school. 1, Nancy Adamson, will my red hair to Betty Shields and my soprano voice to Terry Marker. I, Connie Bergman, will my ability to play a tenor saxophone to my sister, Joye, and my ability to have a District office in F. H. A. to Judy Selking. I, Loren Bieberich, will my height and size 13 shoes to Fritz Bultemeyer and my brains to whoever can make use of them. 1, Jim Bienz, will my ability to paint to John Hilburn, and to Elgene Bienz, I will my ability not to be afraid of Senior girls. 1. Faye Bittner, will my waist line to Margaret Cook and my ability to behave in band class to Kenny Selking and Ricky Gerber. I, David Blume, will my ability to stay out of trouble to Walter Walchle and my quiemess to Kenny Selking. 1, Don Busick, will my shortness to Dean Schieferstein and my ' 56 Chevy to anyone who can keep it out of wrecks. 1, Kay Butler, will my ability not to be too friendly to Janice Franz and my long hair to anyone who has the patience to take care of it. 1, Ron Buuck, will my hot Chevy to anyone who can win a drag with it and my ability to have girl trouble to Vernon Fuhrman. 1, Mike Carr, will my ability to have flat tires on my car to anyone who is rich enough to buy new ones. I also will to all the members of the Freshman class just as much, if not more experience than I have had in my four years of high school. I, Calvin Caston, will my ability to know a good car when I see one to Mr. Zimmerman and my ability to get along with Mr. Rosier to anyone who can do it. I, Jeanie Cook, will my natural blonde hair to Barbara Fuhrman and my flute to anyone who wants to put the keys back on it. I, Dorothea Decker, will my typing ability to Susan Hitzemann and my ability to type for teachers to anyone who can read their writing. I, Diane Erxleben, will my glasses to anyone who has enough courage to look into a mirror while wear- ing them and my co-editor of the Yearbook to a Junior with good ideas and loads of determination. 1, Melvin Fast, will my red hair to John Henry Rosier and my ability to get along with the teachers to Kenny Selking. 1, Gary Fifer, will my natural curly hair to John Henry Rosier and my go-cart to anyone who can make the clutch work. I, Roy Fuelling, will my ability to chew gum in study hall to John Boerger and my motor scooter to anyone who can make it go 50 M. P. H. I, Roy Fuhrman, will my ability to chew gum in all classes to Jerry Liby and my ability not to have ? car to Carl Maynard Miller. I, Julaine Gallmeyer, will my ability to be majorette all four years to Linda Owens and my natural blonde hair to Barbara Fuhrman. I, Mike Hakes, will my ability to get along with teachers to Marvin Tague and Walter Walchle. I, Janice Linker, will my ability to wear harmonizing clothes to Sharon Reinhart and my natural brown hair to Barbara Fuhrman. I, Carl Miller, will to John Fitzgerald Rosier my Civics ability and my cross country ability to Marian Caston. I, Jack Miller, will my priceless collection of Mad Magazines to Bob Auer (this is only for the purpose of keeping my offspring from getting their hands on them) . And to anyone vsrho has the ability to drive down ditches without putting dents in her, 1 bequeath my faithful 56 Chevy (if she lasts that long).
