Within its burnt shell of a home, IVIonmouth ' s troupe tri-annually enacts its varied passionplay, and the College changes its masque once a term. ma ■v i 5 11 A tribute to many, in spite of some, Monmouth College, no more than the sum of those who dwell within her, grew with each month of waiting, and bore exceptional after talented after happy child. 12 13 14 Monmouth, we are you and we are now. This is our story, not yours. Unless we stop to consider . . . (|a«.- 1969 ravelings ' best years of our lives ' foreshadowed, we (being naively enthusiastic) left our first 18 years behind and entered a four-year dream world . . . . . . under the assumption that if 1400 students are given the incentive, they will each become outstand- ing in some way. so some began a search for truth, others for beauty, some sought love . . . . . . the majority of us really sought only the bottom of the beer mug at the river. a get together dance, where each displayed his tan and style; we didn ' t get too close together: ' not on the first date! ' let ' s see. fill out the yellow card and then . . . ah, forget it. to the styx for a cup of coffee and then maybe I ' ll understand, wait, i think they ' re all crazy. ' Trouble D £SI1 maybe, the busiest table in the hall ( ' see the sign, dummy ' ) was worn paper thin; tempers were almost as thin, but we made it. 22 offense . . 24 plus defense .
