Mr. Tom Irvjin Advisor Putting together a yearbook is more vjorry and more trouble and more Work than anyone who has never been associated with a book from the inside can ever imagine! Only those who passed by the Ravelings door during vacations or after hours have an inkling of all that IS involved. There were times vjhen all the frantic running and digging, when all the lack of time and fortitude, when all the vacations spent on yearbook almost drove us to the brink. ' At those times we were most doubtful of our roles as aspiring editors, and most inclined to wish that those who applied with us had secured the job instead. Now that we, too, hold the fruit of our labors in our hands, it is easier to forget all the worry and work, easier to laugh off mistakes and to constructively criticize. There are many changes we would make given a second chance. But, all in all, we are proud of the book. We did not wish for it to be a directory or an almanac, and in that we may have disappointed some of you. Instead, we tried to capture the feeling of a year, this particular year, as a student at Mon- mouth College. We hope that we have recorded it as you saw and felt It. It seems only fitting for us to express our sincere thanks to those without whom there would be no 66 Ravelings.
