ECOLOGYCZUB FIGHTSPOLLUTION The Ecology Club began its action against environmental problems early in the school year. The club planned to build bird houses and to place them on the state game lands. The club members also hoped to plant trees in place of wasteland. In doing these things, Mr. Heck, advisor of the club, hoped to make students aware of local environmental problems and of how to solve them. Ecology C lub 8 7

MOTTERN SWANKSUPERVISE BIOL OGYCLUB Under Mrs. Mottern and Mr. Swank, the Biology Club planned to attend the BuelPlanet- arium and the Pittsburgh Zoo during the school year. To attend these learning centers required money, and to raise this money, the club hoped to sponsor a dance and a bake sale.
