MIKE THOMPSON , REPRESENTS M I A T STA TE MEET Mike Thompson proudly represented Moniteau in the State Track and Field Meet held at Penn State on May 23 and 24, 1975. The su- per sophomore raced in the 100 yard dash trials but failed to quali- fy for the finals. To earn his chance at the State Meet, Thompson was a triple Winner at the District IX Meet at Kane on the preceding Saturday. Mike Won the 100 yard dash in a time of 10. 0 seconds, breaking the Moniteau and the District IX records. He also was victorious in the 220 yard dash in 23. 7 seconds. Along with Pat Rumbaugh, Don Tirnblin, and Mike Warner, Thompson earned a fourth in the 880 yard relay with a team time of l:37.2.
