'ONETT JUNIOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL HONOR SOCIETY This is the sixth year of existence for this society Interest in the organization has grown each year Member ship in the society is one of the most coveted honors within the realm of a student's possibilities The purpose of the organization is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate good citizenship, and to promote a balanced participation in extra carrlcular activities Every pupil is eligible to participate in the accumulation of points Any student who earns a minimum of 60 points in the Scholarship group, 60 points in the Citizenship group, and 40 point in the Extra curricular activities group Q25 points in E C A group for Junior High Students? is eligible to membership in the Society Election to membership takes place during the first week of the last month of school An advisory board, consisting of the highest ranking students, one from each grade, 8-9 lO-ll, and two from the 12th grade, and four faculty members appointed by the principal, acts as a committee to pass on the application of a student for points, evaluates new activities for points and determines the general policy fo the s stem 5 09 af i M4 ' A o ML Q ' I 4 4 .
