LttQ1ll'1g a ferx ent Thank God he drew one deep breath then started to run ught 1nto the face of the approachlng car w1th the headllght streamlng upon hlm He had no way of slgnalmg them except by runmng towards the car and rlght before It waung h1s hands llke a madman and thls he d1d The occupants exldently saw h1m for they gradually slowed up and came to a dead stop A mlddle aged man Jumped out of the auto and went to Glen and asked what was the matter Glen told h1m of the danger and then ox er come by the eXc1tement and exhausted from runnmg he fell 1n a swoon When he came to and opened h1s eyes he heard a soft H0109 say Are Vou better?
