Add Fifty-fourth Link To Gold Chain Class of 59, this is your life-the story of a year of ioys and sorrows combined to make vivid memories which will last for years to come. Yours has been a life en- riched with sound education, active parti- cipation in extra-curricular activities, and varied experiences. You got off to a really fine start with the election of your class officers. With inter- ested sponsors and good student leader- ship, your activities were successes, from the Sadie Hawkins Dance, with its humorous theme, to the Prom, which was really a big affair. Highlighting your big year was the Christmas Dance, Mistletoe Magic , the class play, Nuts in May , the May Day, and Class Night, all of which hold cherished memories. Then finally the big moment arrived-the climax of years of striving- graduation. As you leave Monessen High School, your memories will be locked in your hearts and minds, and your Alma Mater will grow dearer to your hearts. TOP-Senior Scholastics hold the interest of Ken Walters and Mike Lancas. CENTER- You're lazy! says Nancy Metzger to mascot, Becky Haury, as Elsa Comet and Marlene Crisi laughingly agree. BOTTOM-Walter Jackson looks remorsely on as Joe Caterino succumbs to the board of education ap- plied by Mr. Furio. 27 ,
