DiBiaso The 1958 Seniors GO FORTH - NEVER TO RETURN AS STUDENTS Hallmark of sincerity, eagerness, and ver- satility-this was the class of '58, The seniors followed the first rule of success by working together as a group. Together the class offi- cers, senior council members, and sponsors, Mrs. Hicks, Miss Lowe, and Mrs. Kasper, planned the activities. In December, the sen- iors combined with the juniors to iointly spon- sor the Christmas Dance, Sliver Bells. Then with the advent of the new year, the program of activities increased. Such important affairs as the senior class play, Out of the Frying Pan, the Prom, Senior Banquet, Class Night, and finally, Commencement, will long lie stored as golden memories. Always well represented on the honor roll, the seniors doubtlessly proved themselves ambitious scho- lastically as well as socially. Many members of the class won acceptance and recognition in the Glee Clubs, Orchestra, Band, National Forensic League, Student Council, Yearbook, Gazette, and football, basketball, and baseball teams. As the class of '58 grasps for the world of the future, they will doubtlessly carry the fine traditions of Monessen High School far. Vera Victoria shows Paul Tobacco how she solved the trig problem.
