As the title suggests, the play revolves around Mama, a wonderfully loving woman, whose strength flows from her to her four children — Katrin, Christine, Nels, and little Dagmar — and to her equally wonderful husband Lars. Lars and Marta Hansen have come to America from Norway (the old country), joining over here in the land of opportunity, Marta's sisters, three eccentric personalities. However, the most eccentric character is Uncle Chris, who roars like a lion but has the heart of Santa Claus. Other characters passing through this play, set in the year 1910, are Mr. Hyde, who reads vonderful stories to the family and Uncle Elizabeth, Dagmar's Viking cat that fights for her honor. This play, with its happy ending and Norwegian characters, had a great turnout and was enjoyed by all — cast, crew, and audience alike!! 53 “You mean that one in the window? “Papa I got your newspaper. 54 'Two inches in six months. I love my Jessie. You Marta, are the practical one. No! Don't look! She's got rabbit ears! Let's play doctor! I will not clean my room! No Cavities! Then theyTl pass it around to be signed by everyone. Well, after the hustle and bustle of the first few days is over, look through it — slowly, and see what's really there, hidden between the pages. 5 years, 10 years, 25 years from now, we hope our yearbook will bring back old memories . .. and maybe a smile or two!
