STANDING, L. to R: Advisor - Mr. Landry, Treas -Jamie Benning, Sec. - Rosie Brantner, V. Pres. - Peter Marten, Pres. - Jeff Erickson, Advisor - Miss Quarberg Page 12 — Seniors Class of 77 After three years of high school, we’ve made it to the top - Hallelujah, we’re SENIORS!! . . . (then why do we still seem so young??) The unforgettable Class of '77 will graduate in only a very short time, but while we're still here, one might like to reflect upon the memories of what being a Senior has been like: Senior pictures - the taking, the making, and the giving, - that first day of school, asking yourself, Where are all those upperclassmen that used to roam these halls with me? - not being able to recognize half the younger students anymore, - thinking, This will be the LAST time we ever . . - learning when to laugh and when not to in Mr. Landry’s class, - 1974 and 1976 Homecoming Spirit Jug Winners (even though our skits never did get us anywhere.) - the hassling but happy Senior Class Play, Mini-Play, and Mini-Movie - selecting graduation announcements and gowns, - deciding your plans for the future - thinking high school would never end and now wishing there would be more time left, - preparing your unforgettable term paper for Mrs. Everson, - appreciating your classmates a little bit more than usual, - Pomp and Circumstance,” - hearing your name called for the last time as a student of MHS, as you make that final walk to the podium to receive your long-awaited diploma.
