Important events included a girl's basketball game between the Mondovi and Durand French clubs and an initiation party in the spring. Year pins were awarded to all members on awards day. Contests in Rice Lake, Eau Claire, River Falls, and Chippewa Falls kept the debaters busy this year. Whelan, Mr. Larson, Advisor Biology Club The Biology Club with fourteen members, the largest membership in its history, was very active this year. Highlighting the year’s activities was a basket social and the annual all-day field trip. The officers are Pres. - Bob Brenner; Vice-Pres. - Debi Kramschuster; and Sec. -Treas. -Marilyn Rieck. Photography Club, a new addition to MHS this year, was formed for students interested in all aspects of photography. Most of their time was spent working on the processing and printing of film.
