IN MEMORY In memory of our departed friend and classmate, Barbara Dregney. May she live in our hearts as she did in our lives. 4 In God’s beautiful garden, A messenger comes each day To gather the choicest blossoms And bear them with him away. Her worldly life is over. We miss her smiling face. But the memory that she left behind Even time cannot erase. Sid Sharp

SUPERINTENDENT Mr. W. H Hehli PRINCIPAL Mr. John P. Herpst In our life of today--effort put forth and growth are twins. We are the sum of all our endeavors. This message is always before us along the highway of life. Do your job, and a little extra. Help yourself, your community, your nation, and you will have the will and the leadership to face the world. The easiest way is not frequently the best way. The difficult road often gives us an outlook which more than makes up for the extra energy expended. The men whose names are long remembered would never have been heard of if they had avoided the difficult things in life. It may not be possible for all students to make high grades but it is possible for all students to be high class citizens. Time to think is one of the conditions most needed today. Caught up in a cyclone of activity, we seldom question our direction, assess the real significance of our endeavor, or evaluate the results. We are going, but where? We are doing, but why? We are becoming, but what? Determination to set aside a few minutes regularly each day or week is crucial. Most people fear a schedule as a prison, but it can help one to find time and use it wisely. Try to avoid racing your motors without having your minds in gear. So begin today to set aside a time to think. It will also help you have many enjoyable and profitable tomorrows.
