For nearly three quarters of a century Mondovi High School has been outstanding as a center of learning in our community. Hundreds of students have gone from our school to college or various jobs and vocations. The achievement records they have left behind and the measures of success that have come to them indicate that Mondovi High School has been, and will continue to be, an institution of learning that any community would be proud to call its own. The people of the community should be highly commended for providing you this opportunity to prepare yourselves adequately for the future. I know that you are also proud of your school and that this pride will spur you on to work toward high achievement and great success. To the Class of '61, it is my hope that you will go forth prepared to meet the world as we know it today with all its uncertainties, and that you will strive to reach the pinnacle of those who have gone before. There isn't any question that all people were placed on this earth for a purpose. The question is.
