COACHES L. toR.: Mr. Evens and Mr. Sand. The Mondovi basketball team had a very successful season during the 1960-1961 campaign. Under the able direction of Mr. Evens, the team employed the fast break and zone presses to a good advantage. They finished the regular season with a 13 won and 5 lost record; a 7 won and 3 lost record in conference play. High scorer for the season was Jerry Rud with 346 points. He and Gary Schultz were placed on the 1st and 2nd all-conference teams respectively while Marv Hageness received honorable mention. Returning lettermen are Rog Duncanson, Ron Parr, Dale Kent, and John Bollinger.
