VOLUME 47 MONDOVI, WISCONSIN EDITOR ------------------------Jim Urness ASSISTANT EDITOR...............John Marten BUSINESS MANAGER...............Shirley Ede ADVISORS - -- -- -- -- Miss Kathryn Bjoraker Mr. James Thompsen DEDICATION We, the Mirror Staff of I960, respectfully and affectionately dedicate our edition of the Mirror to Lawrence Evans. His sense of humor and ever-cheerful disposition were a genuine source of pleasure to both student and faculty member. Through this dedication, we wish to show that we have not forgotten him. CONTENTS WILLIAM HEHLI Superintendent THEIR MESSAGE When paging through the yearbook, it is relatively easy to select the students who are the most active in their school community. It's a little more difficult to determine the moral and ethical character of the citizens of this same school community. In the past it has been traditional for students to pass their yearbook around to their classmates for comments and signatures. Students, if you are to see what you stand for, what others think of you, and the kind of impression you are making on your friends, take a few moments to analyze the recorded comments. Now ask yourself a few basic questions. Are the comments in my yearbook the type that my parents and relatives would be proud of? In years to come, could I, with free conscience, let my children page through my yearbook? It may not be possible for all students to make high grades, but it is possible for all of you to prepare yourselves for life by maintaining the highest moral and spiritual values. It's my hope that the character references of your fellow students are the type that will be a credit to you in the future. FACULTY MILO ANDERSON Stout State College, B. S.
