Initiation Day was the day when the Freshmen bowed to the Sophomores and the Sophomores chose the attire for the Freshmen. The Sophomore Class placed second with their Homecoming skit. They also entered a float in the parade. The officers for the year were as follows: President, Jerry Rud; Vice-President, Gerald Parker: Secretary, Mary Jo Bloss; and Treasurer, Bill Linse. Advisors for the year were Mr. Herpst, Mr. Hable, Mr. Thompsen, and Miss Bjoraker.
