Those boys who lettered on the 1958 team were: Neil Nelson, broad jump and 220; Larry Hart, high hurdles; Steve Harms and Gary Van Hoesen, discus; Dick Lund and Jim Bloss, 880; N. Neilson, M. This team could not be measured by its over all record of three wins and seven losses. The team, again coached by Mr. Anderson, proved to be a strong competitor with every team in the district. Many of the losses in the early part of the schedule were due to faulty fielding. The boys, knowing this was their weakness, strived for better fielding and reached a near point of perfection in the tournament games at Osseo. In this tournament, they beat Augusta eight to seven; but lost a heart-breaker to Durand four to three. Stretch, Steve! Catcher, Mick Dowden Curve it, Neil B TEAM: R. Pabst, M. Thorson, A. Moy, J.
