,f vv X 6 , ' L XQWYV A MONDOVI BEANS NEILSVILLE 6-O IN OPHIER The football boys opened the eeaeon Sept 12 by play ing a non conference with Neileville 4 Jim Bollinger passed for DQ 25 yu-de to .rm singer L eet up the play and Glen Blumherdt went for lo yards to give Mondovi e 6-O win over their oponente D Smeltzer, P Anibas, L Segerstrom, N Miland, D Howard, M Fitzgerald MONDOVI WINS OVER OSSFO Osseo made the most iirst downs but Mondovi did the most scorinv as we won our second conference game with the score 19 7 The Buffaloes went ahead in the first period on Vern L1nse's two yard scoring plunve and extra point A 12 yard pass and 38 yard run from Bollinger to Howard netted us our final touchdown MONDOVI OVERSCORES AUGUSTA, 39 13 L Linse scored A T D s and added 3 extra points while Rudolph tallied all of Augusta's points Linse took the opening kickoff and then added a second T D on a 1 yard plunge after the Buffaloes had recovered a blocked punt on the Augusta 3A Linse scored his third T.D. from the A yard line on a 52 yard drive. A pass from Bollinger to Howard gave Mondovi its fourth T.D. before the half. After the Buffaloes intercepted a pass on the Augusta L2, Linse scored from the 1 yard line Blumhardt scored the last T.D. on a 10 yard sweep around end. 50 MCNDCVI Q BLACK RIVER TIE, 7 7 Black River scored their touchdown when L1nse's fumble was taken by Mccorm1ck,he also added the extra point on an end run Mondov1's score came in the third period on a march of 63 yards with Bollinger calling the signals and also with some beautiful running of the Mondovi backs. Howard climaxed the truce when he cracked over from the one yard line for the T.D. He also ran the extra point which was good. as p .
