The first event attended was a speech clinic at E. C.T.C. where we heard a practice debate. Two teams entered the Kick Off debate at Eau Claire Senior High School, and on December 1 and 2 we travelled to New Richmond for another tournament. We next saw action at Blair on December 16, with 14 other teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota, and on January 13 again met teams from those two states at E.C.T.C. One of the most enjoyable events was the trip to Gustavus Adolphus College at St. Peter, Minnesota, for the Upper Midwest High School Debate Tournament. At this event were teams from nine states. The last big debate event was the trip to Chippewa Falls to compete with other schools for state competition. This year has been a red letter one for Mondovi High School.
