27 JANE O. BERGERSON Jane was bom on February 15, 1917. She grew up in Strum, the town of her birth. She came to Mondovi to attend our excellent high school. Jane is little, but oh my! She has light brown hair and blue eyes. Her three greatest ambitions are to be well thought of, to become a mathematics teacher, or a rural teacher. Jane’s chief interest in life is to get as good an education as she possibly can. Jane’s future husband must have the following characteristics: Honesty, ambition, politeness, and neatness. She doesn’t want to marry early, nor does she want to marry late but she wants to marry in between. Jane is in favor of prohibition. If Jane came into $5,000, she would save it for her college education. A very good choice, Jane. FAVORITES Author—Edgar Allen Poe Orchestra—Junior Actor—Joe E. Now it is 1934, and she has dropped her yodeling for better things. Her three greatest ambitions are: to become a home economics demonstrator, a club leader, or a teacher. Alice has even turned to good reading. The “Tryst” is her favorite book. The man that she marries must be honest, handsome, and have good habits; but she doesn’t want to get married for a while. Stick, around, boys. Listen gentlemen, she wants a great deal of wealth, so while you are waiting for her hand in marriage you had better be storing up the dough and getting that little country home. If Alice ever came into possession of $5,000, she would travel.
