9 ALVINA CHRISTOPHERSON Why, Alvina! How can you disappoint all your ardent admirers by wishing to marry late in life? She likes music, roses, and fruit salad. AMOS BL E COLBY How do you do Baron Munchausen! This great big giant does not use intoxicating liquor in any form but spends his time being a pest and translating Latin. WILLARD CODINGS Willard is a lad with great ambitions in life, who evidently is not the least bit interested in anyone of the opposite sex except Kate Smith. He spends his leisure time playing Tarzan of the Apes. ERLA COOK Erla has great visions of being a private secretary to some big, handsome concert performer. She likes all types of athletics, and she adores Hollywood Crooners. GEORGE COOK Here is a future electrician to grace the name of Mondovi High School. He wishes for wisdom and the privilege to skate, hunt and fish all he wants to. DORWIN COOK No, don’t be surprised! Mr. Cook plans on marrying very, very, very late in life, and then his mate must have plenty of horse sense. He likes “summertime” best. LA VERNE CRAPSER Listen, you dark-eyed damsels, if you want to get on the good side of La Verne, you must feed him all the jello he can get. But you must also be willing to live in a big city, and have hundreds of volumes of Shakespeare around

8 SOPHOMORE CLASS OFFICERS PRESIDENT—ROBERT STOLL VICE PRESIDENT—JOHN OLE WARD SECRETARY AND TREASURER—AUDRI HAUNSCHILD WHO’S WHO IN THE SOPHOMORE CLASS BETTY AASE Betty is a young, peppy damsel who goes in for brunettes in the opposite sex. She throws another log on the fire and dances to Walter Damrosch’s symphony orchestra for amusement. Charles Farrell is her hero, and Janet Gaynor, her competitor. ROBERT AMIDON A Pennsylvania Dutchman whose one ambition is to buy a car and take Mae West out in some green forest to pick lady slippers. Here’s good judgment for you—his favorite orchestra is the Mondovi High School Orchestra. GLADYS ANDERSON Shy? Bashful? I should say not - if you only knew her! She is looking for her ideal partner in life, but meanwhile spends her time listening to Wayne King, eating potato salad, and reading “Big Sister”. THERESA BOLLINGER Here comes a loyal supporter of the US. Navy. Her size nine footwear seems to help her immensely with all of the dancing she does and plans on doing. When she’s not dancing, she’s playing basketball or picking roses. ROY CHARLAND Mr. Charland hopes someday to be a big, handsome pilot, and he would like to travel and eat pie. What would he do with S5000? Keep it! Perhaps, here is an opening for you female lovers of red hair.

10 GERALD HANSON Joe Penner in person! Free show! Ten cents, please. Does he like spaghetti? You should see him roll it on his chop-ticks. Right now, he’s having a hard time deciding whom he like best - Loretta Young or Mae West. MARION HARVEY I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream! At least, Marion thinks we should. Her favorite study in high school is Algebra. Mr. Miller, can you believe that? But, also, she has great ambitions of becoming rich and famous someday. AUDRI HAUNSCHILD Audri thinks that the most enjoyable as well as the most profitable way in which to spend her leisure time is in studying. Don’t try to kid us, girlie, we know you too well! Some of her favorites are: Cary Grant, chili con came, and algebra. MILDRED HILL Here is another love of music. She likes to listen to the ayrack Symphony and Kate Smith - provided the music happens to be popular. She doesn’t know why, but escalloped potatoes just seem to appeal to her. PAUL HILLIARD Paul wants to be a roaming cowboy and live in the wild and wooly West. Girling? Nobody will do but Mae West, and then we will have to wait awhile before her big, handsome “he-man” is ready to settle down. MERLIN HOCH Merlin is a little German lad who takes a particular interest in hunting. Evidently, he’s not afraid of the big bad wolf. He has no heroine, but Slim Summerville is his greatly-admired hero.
