Hajj vi! o YU And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like a snail Unwilling to school. --Shakespeare Time has set its inevitable stamp upon our every thought and action, and now it says that we must part to go our ways and do our deeds. ' We started to school in September, l954. From the group eight have triumphantly reached this goal: Martha Strayer,Mary Ellen Vitello, John Kampfer, Charles Butz, Mary Lou Mollenkopf, Frances Suleski, Lois Strayer and Virginia Kruse. During our twelve years we were active in many projects. The more important ones were accomplished during our four years in high school. We gave five dinners and ln our Junior year the main highlight was the Junior-Senior banquet. When we finally got to be Seniors we had to work on our goal toward the senior trip. As a means for financing we put on a Carnival. It was the first put on in four years and it was a big success. Now we can look proudly back upon our school years and our own achievements, although many things left undone have slipp- ed by as the minutes of the day. Our hearts may be heavy or light, but we must set our eyes on the goal of our lives and move steadfastly onward.

7 en for from Cl! My, my, how time flies. Here it is 1956 and how the class of 46 has progressed - or have they? It seems they have settled all ower the United States. Let's first start on the west coast. What do we see here? Mary Lou Mollenkopf is a hit at Club 88 with her cole star, Frankie. Congratulations, Mary Lou, we hear you are the third Mrs. Frankie. As we gaze around the Club 88 we glance at the kitchen and see Lois Strayer. She always wanted to work in a night club. As we approach Reno we see a car. 1t's stopping. As we push through the crowd we see Sylvia Klotz stepping forth in her red gown and mink coat. her escort is none other than that major we are hearing so much about. Major Charles Butz has been in the army since he graduated from high school. Maxine Howard has a dude ranch in the San Fernando Valley. The ranch is quite popular with the movie stars. She informed us the famous movie actress, Betty Curtis, is going to vacation with her. When we board our plane for Chicago, our pilot is Joe Grabowski, still as ornery as ever. Joe is a very good pilot,iit's like rid- ing in a roller coaster. We are now in Chicago, and let's get something to eat. Just a- round the corner there is a restaurant. It seems Ethel Cannon is still slinging hamburgers. At the stock yards we find Martha Strayer picking out cattle for her meat market chain stores. She still has finger nails in her meat. She said, NThe finger nails come extra.n Our travels now take us to Ohio. To the right we see beautiful fields. The owner is Virginia Kruse. 1 UHQ6TSt3Dd she has over l,OOO acres in farms. They are called NMOO Farms.W In Detroit Bill Majot is a competitor to henry Ford. he is making supercharged Fords. It seems he is running around in his old one. From Bill we learn that our cheerleader, Ellen Phipps, is still living in Monclova. She is the mother of ld lovely children Every morning she rushes them off to school with a yell, WKiddies rah, Kiddies rah, rah ran Kiddies. Frances Suleski is the editor of the Comic book called WSuper woman.n Her copy boy is John Kampfer. In John's spare time he is writing a book called nhome Life in Monclova.N In New York we renew more old acquaintances. Grace Kinney and Donna Pickering are running a boarding house ,n the edge of China- town. Young gentlemen are preferred. Nora Lee McClure is also on the edge of Chinatown. She has her own little shop. She is in the laundry business. ner motto is nBring in your laundry dirty and we return them purty.N Our last stop is at Washington, D.C. We are going to visit the President. Our former class president is now the first woman pres- ident of the United States--Mary Ellen Vitello!! We wish her luck Now is we say goodbye to our friends, we say just one thing, nNever let old acquaintance be forgot.U
