M.H.S. BANDS , I w Q ' ' BAND S HOOA The band increased this year in instrumentation as well as in the membership. A sousaphone and a glockenspiel were purchased with the proceeds from the various activities that were sponsored. , A concert was given in honor of the Band Mothers on Feb- ruary 8. At this performance there were a clarinet quartette and a trumpet duet, as well as the band numbers. The drum majors appeared in their new uniforms. The Band took part in the Spring Music Festival which was given on March 21. A larger number of our members appeared in the mass band at the County Music Festival than ever before.

To represent the club at the County Music Fes- tival,May 9,at Whitmer High School, the following girls were sent: G. Meyers, R. Herring, B. Cunningham, and S. Dudek. FIRST ROW: G. Meyers, H.
