We survived the first storm Freshmenin1tiation,with little damage but a few repairs were necessary. In April Mr. Sanford and the Loesch Motor Co.helped us pilot our plane to Fordb village and factory near Detroit, Michigan. Z-0-O-M Z-0-O-M Field Manager Van Ausdale again gives the signal,WERECWT!to greater heights. This time Bob Kiefer is P11otgThelma Morr1son,Co-pilot, Ethel Brauneck ticket taker, and Carl Weber, Steward. Two passengers, Marjorie Pomeroy'andlhrgaret Woods, reached a higher goal than the rest when they received Honorable Mention Awards in the District Scholarship Test. ZAO-O-M Z-0-O-M Z-O-O-M Field Manager Windle gives the signal to Raymond Olwick, P11otgMargaret Woods, Co-pilot, Ethel Brauneck, Ticket-taker, Olin Vincent, Holder of the purse stringsg and Carl Weber, Steward. After carefully packing her bags, Mary Strawbr1dge's parachute bailed out in December, with the rest wishing her a Pleasant landing- Many of the UOYS and several of the girls were wearing letters they had won in athletic activities. We safely piloted our plane through the play and many other important activities of the year. We must new land but not for long, for we will continue our trip again next fall. Zoom! Zoom!
