Their year begins before the first football game in the fall and continues even after their annual Spring Con- cert is a thing of the past. Members of the band provided half-time entertainment at the football' games, often traveling long distances to perform.

Officers are as follows: Edna Harper, Lloyd Duesler, Ann Hill, Pat Cullum, Bobby Dixon, Mac Cox, Rex Weaver, F. O. White, Morris Stew- art, jimmy Harper, and jay Don Gensler. Last but not least we have our eight beautiful majorettes. Helen Muldrow, Sydney Wells, Jean McNeely, jimmye Sue Davis, Maggie Cleghorn, joan Barton, Gwen jordan, and Thelma Sparks are always out in front. Mr. C. M. 'I Active in and Community Several musical assemblies were enjoyed by the student body, thanks to the band. And several parades were brightened by the gaily-array- ed tunesters.
