They handled the project like true music-lovers, they listened to the notes, tangled with various scales, and attempted to create a harmony of experiences throughout. The album, in itself, was designed to make graphic each student's realities at Monache during 1976- 77. The staff only hopes that these realities will be accepted as lovingly as they were recorded.

This year's staff attempted to broaden the concept of a high school news- paper to include columns, literary works, art, and news. The hard-working, creative staff maintained, throughout the year, a high standard of journalistic effectiveness, in combination with a wide variety of applied creativity. Though :he newsmagazine was received favorably by some and less than favorably by others, it cannot be said that it did not provoke a reaction . Advisor: Dianne Howell
