Lee Gifford off- 'Nw Department Head: Monte NIcKibban John Herrell Along with lVIonache's other departments there is the Agriculture Department. The Ag. Depart- ment is vocationally oriented . The students start the program in an lnter-Ag. class. This class gives the students a taste of many different types of agriculture classes. There are four basic areas: Animal Science, Plant Science, Ag. Nlachinesp and Forestry and Ag. Business. Animal Science deals with breeding, care of animals, how to raise animals for show and all other aspects of meat. Plant Science teaches the students how to take care of plants in a green- house or farm land. This also teaches the stu- dents how to landscape a plot of land . The third section is Ag . llflachines, this deals in how en- gines work. They learn how to make and use gas engines . The cycle of life of a forest is discus- sed in Forestry. Ag.
