Department Head: Ed Schoenfeld For the people with creative interests on campus, there is the Fine Arts Department. This department is made up of art, music, and drama. Art is the department in which Ed Schoenfeld and Bob Bitner are kept busy playing teacher to 380 people every day . Posters and runthroughs, megaphones, movies, belts, purses, decopage, macrame, all come out in a pretty steady stream . The group on campus doing the best acting, of course, is the Drama Department. The Drama Department teaches not only acting techniques, but they also produced several plays which delighted Porterville audiences . The great memories of amateur acting will always be treasured by the students of the Drama Department. The third section of Fine Arts Department is lVlusic . This department has been a source of pride to llllonache for many years, and undoubtedly will be to Nlonache for many years to come . Dale Anderson and Dave Rasmussen, together with the dedication of the students, have brought pride to lVlonache in the many per- formances by the band and singing groups . This summer, the band will be IVlonache's shining star to the world by performing in the British Isles.
