After two poor years of below-average play, the team this year showed that they were 'L ,,,.-.. ,.,,, ..-. After starting league play with two losses and one tie, they came right back and won their next three home games scoring eleven goals while only having two scored against them. Too much success came too soon in the season, for in the next games against Porter- ville they only tied, against Delano they lost in the last fifteen seconds of overtime, and they only managed a tie against the basement team. Certain ly it was a disappointing ending to the season, but they did give many spectators a new outlook on the thrilling game of soccer. Record: 3 wins-3 losses-2 ties Tied for third in league standings. Captains: Gilbert Garcia and Elio Espino M. V. De- lano, Tulare Union, Tu- lare Western and Monache composed the league. Monache's record was two wins, four losses. The league gave many boys an opportunity to wrestle who would not otherwise have had a chance to. The frosh- soph experience will great- ly help our future LV. and Varsity teams.
