Graduation Is Near White dresses, white shirts, ties, red carnations, scholar- ships, awards, and the passing of the gavel. These are thoughts that most seniors re- late when talking of senior class day. This day is de- scribed as the beginning of the end. After four years of high school, it becomes clear that graduation is near and that new experiences are waiting. During the assembly, at- tended by the junior class and distinguished guests, awards and scholarships were an- nounced. Perhaps the most symbolic happening was the passing of the gavel. This event officially began the job of the next senior class presi- dent. The day is special and re- memorable to each senior in an individual and personal way. Graduation is near!
