‘Soft’ does not describe this spot Things were not ’soft’ for the girl’s soft- ball team this year. In fact, one could say that their tests were indeed ‘hard’ and demanding. Playing in fallen snow, pour- ing rain, freezing cold, and steaming heat were some of the harsh conditions they were subjected to.
