,Q4 K, VVhere would you be without ,73?,' For the seniors of MHS, the 1972- 73 school year was their last in this high school. Numerous activities made these last school days memo- rable ones. Probably the most outstanding ac- tivity was the re-opening of the se- nior lounge. Many of the seniors combined their efforts, and through long hours of work they thoroughly cleaned and repainted the lounge. New furniture was also bought and placed in the lounge. In October the senior class Hal- loween party was held. Included in the evening were the initial masquer- ade, a dance, and two cookie-eating contests-one contest between the girls, and one between the boys. These events, plus the crownings, New York trip, and many other ac- tivities, were all part of the seniors' final year at MHS. The successes, the failures, the joys and sorrows of the year can actually be felt only by the seniors who experienced these emo- tions and these memories will linger on in the minds of these people for years to come.
