J unior High Faculty Junior High Principal Mr. Christy J. Mangin To the Senior Class: As you young people look ahead into the future, you talk of seeing the pathway of life through which you are about to walk. If you could pick your trip, it would probably be along a shaded, grassy path brightened with sunlight by day and moonlight by night. Your parents and friends wish for you an easy, steady progress leading directly to your goal. What a simple life we could have if we could all see the rapid fulfillment of our ambitions! Or would it be so simple? Look about you to see men and women you consider successful, and you find living proof that the trek through life is not im- possible. Set your goals high and face the route toward them honestly, confidently. If others championed fate, so can you. Should you falter along the way, scramble to your feet and push ahead. No obstacle course need be impossible for young people with your ability and ambition. Once you find the success you seek, you will be glad that you stuck to your plans through it all. Christy J.
