Thomas. J. Well, E. McCaw, L. Edwards. Mrs. Rock. The purpose of the Tri-Hi-Y is to create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community high stand- ards of Christian character. The club, under the sponsorship of Mrs. Mary Rock, inducted 15 new members at the begin- ning of the year. Some social events of the club were the Hi-Y-Tri-Hi-Y Rally, and a banquet honoring the mothers and the new officers. One of the main projects was a gift tree that was presented to the Children's Hospital. The officers of the Tri-Hi-Y were: President, Barbara Thomas: Vice-President, Joyce Household- er: Secretary, Barbara Irons: Treasurer, Marcia Conrad: and Chaplain, Kathleen Kirchner. 22
