SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Throughout our high school years, the Class of I960 has shared numerous enriching experiences. We entered Momence High as green freshmen, unsure of ourselves and awed by the juniors and seniors who possessed confidence and poise; however, as the years passed, we too became, supposedly, these self-assured seniors. With only a few short months left before we graduate, we can look back and reminisce our good times and bad........... the freshman concessions at the football games; our sophomore carnival which always proves to be more than interesting; our junior year, during which we purchased new class rings; and our senior year highlighted with incidents involving fire- crackers, painted sidewalks, our first place senior class home- coming float, and the unfortunate accident which befell our classmate Ed VanSwol. We, as of yet, have not decided on a class trip, but we are working hard and hoping for a senior trip which will truly be a climax to the chest of memor- ies in our final year at Momence Community High School. 22
