CLASS HISTORY Amid cheers and jeers the freshman class of 1956-57 entered Momence High School. Our class was led by President, Clyde Torp; Vice- President, Elaine O’Brien; Secretary, Sharon Ownbey; Treasurer, Joanne Kinney, Reporter, Stephen Lipnik. Freshmen definitely need to be advised; this job is in the capable hands of Miss Coontz, Mrs. Peterson, and Mr. Lister. The freshman class added their little bit to the football games by selling refreshments and by presenting the fans with the cheering of Joanne Kinney and Elaine O'Brien. We were represented at the homecoming by Linda Cote, who was attendent to the queen. We hope that Within four years our class will live up to the high ideals set by the past Momence High School students.
