Sophomores You can't go pushing those sophomores around; They learned much as 'freshies and in knowledge abound. When they came to school on the first day, It was decided to get right underway. They figured if they were to get much done, Of presidents they should have about one, And this, somebody whom all adored, A handsome young man named Hilton Ward. To electing vice-presidents, they were prone, So they put in a fellow called Carl Krone. They thought someone should keep notes too. So in order that they might be taboo, Secretary Pat Barnes kept history While Gary Thyfault watched the treasury. In order to gain both money and fame, They sold programs at each home football game. In magazine selling, they gave of their best, And turned in more money than all the rest. So its ever forward for the sophomores here, As they anticipate a great junior year. Freshmen Mr. Patton's Advisory Group The wide-eyed freshmen appeared the first day And for a short time got in everyone's way, But soon we knew our way around. And no longer could be in the wrong class found. Our president has been young Pat Horn, Who all our troubles and trials has borne, John Tremore has been our v. p., And a capable young man he's proven to be. While Sharon Eggen, in work a believer, Was both secretary and money keeper, Janet Schwiegert has been our reporter And for her work, we must compliment her. We kept our treasury filled to the top. By selling, at football games, hot dogs and pop, We rendered a noble service true, When we cleaned up the field after football games, too. We've undergone our injustices now. And next year as sophomores, we'll show 'em all how. Mr. Patton’s Advisory Group This page was sponsored by LUSTIG’S DEPARTMENT STORE 20
