Seniors Thirty-eight students make up the Senior class of 1954. Although this is by far the smallest number of students in any of the four classes, any senior can tell you that their class has accomplsiehd a good deal. One of the first acts of the class was to determine a senior administration to lead all thirty-eight through the final year in school. The honor fell upon four boys. Gene Dionne became president; Ronnie Hayhurst, the vice-president; Jerry Usher, the secretary; and Dave Hess, the treasurer. One of the fall duties of the class was to present the annual homecoming. This year they tried to make it a bigger and better spectacle by urging each of the four classes to enter a float in an afternoon parade and in a halftime cele- bration. This, together with a post-game dance, made the year's football homecoming one to remember. Creditfor the success of the seniors can be extended to their sponsors who led them through four years of school. This year's sponsors were: Mrs. Griest, Mr. Burch, Mr. Poorbaugh, and Mr. Tomasello.
